Anthony Mirabelli is the Principal of the firm having been admitted to Practice in 1976. He has extensive legal experience in legal practice management and client representation across several areas of practice, including:
General Commercial Advice to companies, partnerships and individual clients and he has extensive experience in advising clients in the Franchise Industry and has acted for Major Franchisors, Master Franchisees Local and Overseas and Franchisees in various industries, including Food and Trade.
Anthony also heads our Family Law Division of the Practice and together with Bryarne Weir provides advice in all aspects and areas of Family Law, Property Disputes, Children’s Matters and Family Violence Applications.
Our Family Law Division is focused on getting the best possible results for clients, preferably by way of early alternate dispute and mediation resolution of matters.
Family Law is an increasingly complex and difficult area of law and each case is unique and turns on its own facts. Anthony is knowledgeable in legal issues, has the ability to apply the law to the client’s circumstances and resolve matters using a combination of legal, negotiating, mediating and interpersonal skills.
Anthony’s approach promotes resolution of disputes without the need for litigation. Where litigation is unavoidable, Anthony has extensive experience of the litigation process. Anthony appears as solicitor advocate and/or as instructing solicitor with Counsel. He also acts as advocate for his clients in conferences and mediations.
In addition to the areas of Law Practised by Anthony, as detailed above, Anthony has also represented many accused in all areas of Criminal Law Matters ranging from Traffic, Drink Driving, Drug and Minor Criminal Matters including Domestic Violence and Personal Safety Invention Orders for decades in the Magistrates Courts to far more serious crimes in all the major Courts and jurisdictions. Anthony can be regularly found at Broadmeadows Magistrates Court and is familiar with the prosecutors and the Magistrates that are located there.
